Couples Counselling

I also specialize in couples counselling, helping couples work through relationship concerns including communication issues, conflict resolution, household roles and responsibility disagreement, and intimacy concerns. I use evidence-based approaches to help couples improve their communication and strengthen their emotional bond, including Gottman Method and attachment psychology.

At Erin Cape Psychological Services, my approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-based. I have taken post-graduate training to enhance my knowledge of psychological theory and clinical approaches to meet a range of client needs.

Specific therapeutic approaches used in sessions include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Gottman Method for couples therapy.
